Learn How to Book Close
• You can check out the list of programs on the home screen.

• You would better use a "Filter" function at the top of the home screen to narrow down programs you are looking for if there are too many programs.

• Click the program on the list you want to reserve and then its detailed page will open.

• Click "Book Now" button at the bottom of the screen to move to proceeding of reservation If you fully understand the main content of the program and would like to make a reservation.

• Generally, the reservation application step consists of selecting a date, selecting an operating time, and entering the number of applicants.

• For groups, you must enter additional group information as required by program hosts.

• Click "Apply Now" button after the reservation information is entered and then enter CAPTCHA (Completely Automated Public Turning test to tell Computers and Humans Apart) and them finally a message indicating that the reservation has been completed will display on the screen. It means the reservation has been made.
(In some programs where making a reservation is competitive a lot, a reservation application might be rejected if its requester passes the step of entering CAPTCHA later than others.)

• In addition, in order to cooperate with the prevention of spreading the coronavirus-19 infectious disease, the reservation application may not be admitted until additional information on the companion of a reservationer will be sumitted.

• For paid program reservations, you can proceed with payment by clicking the "Pay Now" button in "My Reservations". However, reservations cannot be canceled automatically unless payment is completed within the payment deadline set for each program. (The payment deadline can be checked at any time in "My Reservations".)

Learn How to Cancel and Refund Close
• You should log in to "My Reservations" at the bottom of the home screen to check the reservation list and select the reservation you want to cancel.

• The access method for "My Reservations" is re-authenticated with the mobile phone number or email address that was initially authenticated and log-in.

• After logging in, find the reservation you want to cancel and click the "Cancel" button.

• In the case of a paid program reservation, the refund method may differ as follows depending on the payment method to which the reservation amount was paid.

• In the case of credit card payment, the original approval transaction is canceled and the cancellation (refund) request is made to the credit card company.

• When payment is made to a virtual account, when canceling a reservation, register a refund account and request a refund. (When registering a refund account, it is successful only when the account holder, bank, and account numbers all match. If the account holder is a corporation, the spaces of the corporation name on the bankbook must also be exactly the same.)

• Please refer to the refund policy in each detailed page of the reserved program as the cancellation policy may be different for each program you booked.

Learn How to Use Confirmation Voucher Close
• You should log in to "My Reservations" at the bottom of the home screen to select a reservation on the list and check "Confirmation Voucher".

• The access method for "My Reservations" is re-authenticated with the mobile phone number or email address that was initially authenticated and log-in.

• Depending on the operating host policy, an online authentication method classified as "mobile pass (QR code)" or "mobile ticket" is applied.

• "Mobile Pass (QR Code)" is authenticated by placing the reservationer's QR code on the electronic verfication machine at the entrance.

• "Mobile Ticket" is authenticated by the managemnet official who enter the verification code into the mobile ticket of the reservationer. (Code verification will be activated only within the valid usage hours on the scheduled day.)

• Therefore, if you make a reservation on behalf of others and lend a confirmation voucher by capturing the screen, the authentication of the reservation may fail.

• K-GUIDE is an online reservation system brand operated by uforus Co. Ltd. (We are contracted to rent the online reservation system with program-operating organizations and operate it for them as agency.)

• In a case of applying via PC or mobile for advanced reservations for a program with visitor quota during certain hours. In addition, visitors scan a QR CODE by phone on the spot and open spot reservation website and then quickly and easily select a program time and the number of visitors.

• In the case of reservations for a paid program, a credit card merchant, virtual account depositor, or refund institution may be indicated as Uforus Co. Ltd.

TERMS AND CONDOTIONS OF RESERVATION SERVICE

Article 1 Purpose

The purpose of this agreement is to prescribe the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the facility and the user making reservations for admission tickets of the program (hereinafter referred to as "Tickets") on the Internet Reservation System of the program (hereinafter referred to as "Program Reservation").

Article 2 Definition

① "Reservation of a program" means the information communication system that the program established for offering information and/or services to users and enabling them to buy the Tickets by the use of information communication facilities such as computers or smart phones (using at least 3G networks) and information communication networks.

② "User" means the individual who receive offers from the facility's service, pursuant to these provisions, and by connecting to the Program Reservation.

③ "uFORUS Co. Ltd." means the deligated company that that Changdeokgung Palace authorizes to operate the Internet Reservation System of the facility's program.

Article 3 Definitions of Tickets available on the System

See the type of Tickets at the detailed section of each program.

Article 4 Other Regulations

① The facility is responsible for protecting personal information that users entered when establishing their account or using the Reservation of a program.

② With regard to items which are not described in these provisions and interpretation of these provisions, they will follow laws on consumer protection of e-commerce, laws on regulation of provisions, consumer protection directives in e-commerce, related laws, and/or customary practices.

Article 5 Ticket Reservations

① The Reservation of a program offers information and services for buying admission tickets of the program via it.

② The user may make reservations directly on the Reservation according to the internet reservation procedure, and the facility will not be responsible for any omission and/or misapplication of the User’s’ selections that may incur as a result of his/her negligence.

Article 6 Reservation Application

① The user makes reservations according to the following procedures;
1. Establishing a user account (Official Authentication, name, e-mail, cellular phone number, user ID and password) and logging on
2. Selecting a date, an admission time, and admission numbers
3. Paying by a credit card (if applicable)
② The facility will disuse all personal information such as name, e-mail, cellular phone number, user ID and password immediately within 1 months(in case of free) or 3 months(in case of pay) after the latest day of visit.

Article 7 Establishment of Reservation

① The facility complies with a request of reservation application according to the procedures set forth in article 6.

② The facility provides the My Ticket(s) page where a user can check out reservation status in the list immediately after paying(in case of pay) for it. In the event that the user is negligent in checking it or approval request of the user’s credit card fails, any canceled status will not be the facility’s responsibility.

Article 8 Checking Reservation Tickets

① Immediately after reservation establishment, the facility plus the new reservation order to user’s reservation list provided on the reservation service page so that users may be aware of them.

② In the event that access network is not stable, the user may make a phone call to the facility in order to check out reservation status.

③ Checking reservation status is the user’s sole responsibility but not the facility’s.

Article 9 Admission Tickets

① A reservation confirmation is the right to receive a real ticket at the box-office or to be issued a mobile ticket(mobile pass) after payment(in case of pay).

② After issuing and getting a reserved ticket, the user is responsible for protecting it from breakage, missing, or theft.

Article 10 Payment Method(in case of pay)

Credit card and cash payment are payment methods to purchase program tickets at box office, KIOSK and management office after reservation.

Article 11 Reservation Status

A user must check out reservation status in the list on the My Ticket(s) page. If there is no order detail or its status is not reserved, the reservation application is considered as failure.

Article 12 Issuing Tickets

① In the event that users who made reservations get their tickets at the Box-office or KIOSK after payment, they should show reservation number, name, or phone number in a way of identification.

② Therefore, the users should show their ID card if the facility requests.

③ Normally the users should come to the box-office and receive their tickets prior to the reserved use time.

④ Users also can get their mobile ticket right after reservation.

Article 13 Mobile Ticket

① A user can show mobile tickets booked on the official mobile website when he/she arrive the box-office.

② In the event that a user receives a mobile ticket in the smart-phone, the user should show the ticket and pay for it.

Article 14 Cancellation of Tickets

① Users may be aware of the cancellation condition on the reservation service page.

② Cancellation of tickets can be made within stipulated period but is not allowed to after the due date.

③ The facility provides notification of the contents of these cancellation guidelines on the reservation service page so that users may be aware of them.

④ The user must come to the box-office of the facility at proper time before the reserved use time and request to cancel your order if the user wants to cancel it on the visiting day. The proper time depends on the reservation service page.

⑤ Any cancellation of reservation or refund of ticket cannot be allowed after the beginning of the the reserved use time.

⑥ The facility reserves the right to cancel all or some of reservation tickets as in each of the following items;
1. Where a reservation order has exceeded stipulated limit that depends on the reservation service page.
2. Where a user has sold his/her reservation tickets to others
3. Where a user has performed acts of displaying information that goes against the facility’s operational policies, good public orders or morals such as obscene or violent messages of image or voice.

Article 15 Changes of Tickets

In the event that a user wants to change amount and/or use time of purchased tickets, user’s sole remedy shall be to make a new reservation and cancel the previous purchase.

Article 17 Notice

① The program time and course are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstance.

② Please see the notice of the reservation service page.

Article 18 Exemption Provisions

① The facility reserves the right and responsibility to cancel and/or issue a ticket.

② Cancellation and refunds of tickets is subject to the facility’s operational policies.

Article 19 Settlement of Dispute

① The facility tries always to reflect and/or cope with fair opinions or claims by users.

② The facility shall promptly and properly cope with claims and/or opinions offered by users. However, in the event that prompt settlement is not available, it shall provide notification of the cause and date of settlement immediately.

③ The facility may follow the reconciliation of the committee on an e-commerce dispute, which is established on the basis of basic e-commerce laws and their enforcement rules, in the event of the occurrence of an e-commerce dispute between the Tour and users.

Article 20 Competent Court and Proper Law

① The facility shall file a lawsuit on an e-commerce dispute, which may occur between the facility and users, to the Court having jurisdiction over the facility.

② The law of Republic of Korea shall be applied to an e-commerce lawsuit between the facility and users.

Additional rules(valid from 01.September.2020)

1. This agreemnet is valid from 01.September.2020.

2. All the reservation occured before 01.September.2020 is also effective from this agreement.

3. Add 'Payment policy' as below.
- Credit card and cash payment are payment methods to purchase tour program tickets at internet reservation system, box office and KIOSK.
- Only Credit card is payment method in case of internet reservation. You must pay for it before deadline of payment. If not, the reservation is cancelled automatically.
- After paymnet, you can issue the ticket at box office or KIOSK on the due date. Also you can use the mobile ticket on same day.

4. Add 'Cancellation/Refund policy(included penalty policy)' as below.
- You have to check cancellation/refund policy(included penalty policy) on the reservation service page. Penalty depends on the time of cancellation, the type of program reservation.

Privacy Policy

The facility thoroughly protects users' personal information. This Privacy Policy is subject to changes according to the laws of the Republic of Korea and the policy of the reservation service(hereinafter referred to as the “service”). Users can review the most current version of the Privacy Policy on the service website at any time.

1. Collecting Personal Information

The facility collects personal information from the information users entered when registering. The facility may also collect specific information on computer hardware and software. The information, including users' IP addresses, type of browsers, name of domain, time of access and website addresses, is used in order to manage the service, increase the service quality and make general statistics about the service users.

- Period of Use: Delete after 3 to 6 months(Varies by introducing facility) from the date of use. When a user requests deletion of personal information or requests withdrawal of consent to collection and use of personal information, the personal information is immediately destroyed(However, in cases where it is separately stipulated by relevant laws and regulations, it is kept until the relevant period.).

2. Keeping and Disuse of Personal Information

While you take a service from the facility as a member, the facility keeps your personal information and uses it for providing better service. But if you secede from the service of the facility through the process of the membership cancellation according to the Terms of Service, then the facility will remove your information from its hard disks by the method that the facility cannot restore the seceder’s personal information. The facility will be unable to see or use it in any way.

3. Use of Personal Information

The facility does not expose users' personal information to the third parties or other companies without users’ consent. But the facility can release it if forced by legal procedures, or in case of urgent circumstances for protecting the public safety.

The facility shall provide third parties or delegated companies of the service such as electronic payment companies with the personal information of its consented members in order to charge admission fees whenever users make reservations.

The delegated companies to which personal information is provided, the provided information, and the purpose of using the provided information shall be as follows:

1) Messaging service

- Information Recipient : KskyB, Inc.

- Provided Information: Mobile phone number

- Use Purposes: Send SMS/LMS/KAKAO BIZ massage(reservation status)

- Period of Use: Delete after sent SMS

2) Development and maintenance company for the internet reservation system

- Information Recipient : uforus co.ltd.

- Provided Information: name and contact point of user

- Use Purposes: development and maintenance for the system

- Period of Use: Delete after 3 to 6 months(Varies by introducing facility) from the date of use

3) Payment

- Information Recipient : nice payments uforus co.ltd

- Provided Information: name of user

- Use Purposes: payment

- Period of Use: not applicable

4) Other

- Information Recipient : Quarantine authorities, Investigation agency (introduction facility consignment/designation/related agency)

The facility saves users' information and uses cookies on occasion for providing services adapted to the users. Cookies are text files installed in user's hard disk by website's server.
